PR for restaurants |
The owner has been preparing eel for over 20 years, and we deliver the finest eel to you. Take-out and banquets are also welcome!
We serve only carefully selected domestic eel, prepared daily by the owner himself, using a sauce inherited from a long-established wholesaler that has been in business for 120 years. Please enjoy dis |
One weekday, my wife and I happened to have the same day off. I decided to have lunch somewhere while drinking a beer, so I made a reservation and went to this restaurant. Since it's an eel restaurant, I thought it would be a good idea to let them know my order, so I ordered the 3,980 yen course. When I arrived at the store, I found that it was much more spacious, bright and clean than I had imagined from the outside. There was only one customer. I was shown to a table for 6 people in the back and ordered a draft beer, feeling like a bit of a VIP. Then, the appetizer and salad are brought out before the draft beer. When I came to eat the eel, I thought that I didn't need the shredded cabbage salad, so I started munching on Small dish bowl of bone Senbei (rice crackers) with an ice-cold draft beer, but this time, "Umaki" appeared in quick succession! I thought it was something, but when I looked closer, it was just an egg roll. It's not even a soup roll, it's really just an egg roll. Furthermore, Grilled skewer arrived in quick succession. It seems that they are "loose meat" and "fillet roll". Thinking it was a rare item, I asked for some sake. This has a texture that is perfect for connoisseurs. I also wanted to try the traditional grilled liver. As I was enjoying sake on Grilled skewer, the eel rice bowl meal set arrived, perfect as expected. Well, since it was daytime, I convinced myself and my wife that we should eat and go home without drinking too much, and when I opened the lid of the eel bowl, I was surprised! What a cute half eel. Of course the tail. The rice is completely visible. The taste of the eel itself is delicious, but it doesn't balance well with the rice, and there's not much sauce, so it's hard to swallow. The soup is just a soup, not liver soup. When I went to Tokyo, I knew of a restaurant that served reasonably priced eel bowl for 990 yen, so I had low expectations, which was the source of my mistake. If you think about it calmly, this is normal for 4,000 yen. Even though it was lunch, I was prepared to pay 15,000 yen (including alcohol), so if I had known from the beginning, I would have chosen beer + Grilled skewer + eel jus instead of the course. It was a rather disappointing lunch. The eel itself was delicious, but going to an eel restaurant is a bit of a luxury in the first place, but it's better not to serve dishes that can be easily prepared at home, such as shredded cabbage salad, plain egg rolls, and salted fish with plum crystals. I think it's definitely good. It would be better to reduce the number of items rather than serve that. Besides, I think it would be easier to eat eel balls instead of serving such an unbalanced eel bowl. Also, I would like to warn everyone that there are several course menus, but the photos posted are of the most expensive course, so please be careful not to misunderstand. .
