都内でもその名を轟かすほどの本格寿司と焼肉が両方味わえるお店があると聞きつけて
訪問したのがこの埼玉県和光市駅にある「寿し和 和香苑」さん。
入り口をくぐり抜けると、ふたつの異なる空間が広がっている。
ひとつは焼肉店の「和香苑」、そしてもうひとつは寿司屋の「寿し和」である。
それぞれの好みの合わせて利用が可能だが、和香苑では焼肉と一緒にお寿司も注文できてしまうのが魅力！
▼お肉の品質
A5ランク和牛を丸ごと一頭買い上げているのでしょうか。
歯ごたえのある赤身肉からサシがたくさん入った霜降り肉まで、種類が多彩で目移りしてしまいます。
特におすすめなのは梅だれで頂く"特上タン塩"！！
驚くほど厚切りな特上タンは、他の部位の値付けからするとかなりお得に感じます。
厚切りの名に相応しい厚み、そして歯応え、ジューシーさは素晴らしいの一言。もうたまりません。。
霜降り肉は和牛特選カルビ、和牛特選ロースをいただきましたが、軽く噛むだけで脂が溢れ出すほどのジューシーさ。
赤身肉はミディアムレア～ミディアムくらいで焼き上げるのが一番美味しいと感じました。
お肉の弾力が丁度良い状態になります。

塩、タレともに強めの味付けです。タレは甘めです。
お肉を食べ進めて味が濃く感じられるようになったところで、ご飯 もしくは サラダ類をモリモリいただきます。
途端にご飯が、サラダが、極上のご馳走に変わりますよ。
ああ、「肉とメシ」ってなんて素敵なんでしょう。。。

お肉以外にも群を抜いて美味しかったものは”チジミ”！
オーナーさんがお勧めするほどでもあり、その味は群を抜いていました。
ドリンクに関しても地酒などがとても充実しているようなので、
次回はそれにも挑戦してみたいと思います！

なんといっても清潔感が半端ない！
お店の良さは清潔感で分かるとも言われてますが、ここは焼肉屋という
常識を超えて、徹底したクリーンネスを維持しているのではないでしょうか。

寿司、焼肉がひとつの店舗で食べられたら…
そんな欲張りな要求に見事に答えてくれるのがこのお店！
それに加え、高品質な和牛や海鮮を信じられない程の低価格で提供しており、
コストパフォーマンスのインパクトはもう圧倒的でしたね。
強いて言うのであれば、都内に展開してもらいたいところですが...
渋谷からでも副都心線で20分程度なので、一度訪れる価値は十分にありますよ。
