厚みのある黒い雲が午後からの天候急変を思わせる木曜日、社用のため朝霞市内を訪ね歩いています。この日の昼食はJR北朝霞駅前にあるこちらにて。東武東上線（朝霞台駅～朝霞駅間）の車窓から見える大きな宣伝看板がいつも気になっており、所在地を調べて訪問を狙っていたお店です。

極めて薄くカットされたカルビはロースターでサッと炙る程度で十分。すぐに焼き色が入って美味しく頂け、ソフトな食感も持ち合わせています。驚いたのは満ちた肉の旨みが肉汁と共に口中に大きく広がること。ダイナミックな歯応えは期待すべくもありませんが、伝わる美味しさは通常カットの肉に決して劣っていませんでした。
小鉢やサラダ、スープも及第点を与えられる味わいで概ね満足したのですが、唯一ボリュームについては「ごはんを大サイズにしておけば」という後悔も。料理以外では高級感漂う店内の設え、店員さんの細やかな気配りなどからも心地良さを得られ、ディナータイムの料理にも期待が広がりました。またお伺いします。美味しい焼肉ランチ、ごちそうさまでした。
