Came in during lunch time on a weekday. Kawagoe Station east exit, about 1 minute walk from Main. It's been a long time since I last visited (more than 25 years?) I used to go there often at night, but it's still open with lots of energy. The person in charge of the floor is a kind man. Is it the store manager? There are many regular customers, and the customer service is attentive and good. The atmosphere is GOOD. Since I am a solo customer, I am guided to the counter. I ordered a lunch of fried chicken and shrimp cutlet from several menus. Honestly, when I see the words “~with tartar sauce~” written on it, I have no choice but to ask (sweat). The food arrived in about 10 minutes. Freshly fried chicken comes with rice, miso soup, and pickles. Plus drinks too. Of course the piping hot fried chicken was delicious, but the other dishes were also delicious. I think 800 yen is reasonable for this content. Unfortunately, I was seated in the middle of the counter, and there was post-meal cigarette smoke coming from both sides. Be careful if you don't like smoking.
