Exit the JR Kumagaya Station ticket gate, go to the north exit (right), go left at the rotary, cross the crosswalk toward the Karaoke hall, and go left. At the first alley, go straight to the right, and at the end go straight to the left. There is a store on the left. (3rd floor of the building where Grilled skewer restaurant is located) I thoroughly enjoyed Kyushu cuisine. I had the grilled mentaiko from Hakata. A masterpiece where you can enjoy authentic Hakata mentaiko. It's up to you whether you want to eat it raw or roasted. I was in the mood for some grilled food. I had the Kyushu dobuzuke hand-prepared fried chicken (2 pieces). Freshly fried chicken marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce is a must-have for fried chicken lovers. I was happy that it was cut into pieces to make it easier to eat. I had a single piece of chicken nanban. A perfect match for chicken nanban lovers with the sweet and spicy sauce and tartar sauce. I use one large thigh. *Chicken Nanban originated in the 1950s when it was made as a side dish at a Western Western Cuisine in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture. At that time, it seems that it was also called ``deep-fried chicken with sweet and sour pickles.'' After that, it is said to have become the current style of being topped with tartar sauce and served with a salad. To finish off our meal, we had the original fried udon with the aroma of dashi soup. An irresistible dish for udon lovers, made with a light flavor made with chin soup stock. Did you know that yaki udon originated in Kokura, Kyushu? Immediately after the end of the war, the owner of ``Daruma Cafeterias'' in Torimachi Cafeterias District didn't have Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) noodles for yakisoba, so he boiled and grilled dried udon noodles and served them, which were very popular. It's just a coincidence. I didn't know that yaki udon originated in Kokura, Kyushu, so I learned a lot. For those who like Ramen, there is also the chin soup Ramen to finish off the meal. Also, recommended for those who want to eat Ramen after drinking. You can eat here without going to a Ramen shop. For dessert, we had Tempura of Nagasaki's specialty, Kasteira. I was able to fully taste the flavor of Castella and enjoyed the new texture that I had tasted for the first time. I was able to discover a new texture and I was so excited. You can choose to eat it as is or with the manager's recommended Tempura. For my first drink, I had a shochu called Ichibanfuda Rock. You can enjoy the gorgeous aroma and mellow taste. For my second glass, I drank shochu Satsuma Tsukasa on the rocks. Enjoy the rich aroma and refreshing aftertaste. *Uses all ``Golden Sengan'' from Kagoshima Prefecture. For my third glass, I drank shochu Tomino Takarazan with water. You can enjoy the refreshing citrus aroma and crisp taste. Recommended not only for those who like Kyushu cuisine, but also for those who want to drink early since they open early.
