For some reason, I went all the way to Kumagaya. When I heard that there was a private room Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) of an old folk house near the station, I visited it immediately. Immediately after exiting the east exit of Kumagaya Station, I found a rather large old house. There is also a sign in the front, so it is easy to understand. Take off your shoes and go inside. There seems to be a second floor. A surprisingly large restaurant. It was 5 p.m. on a cold weekend, and it was quiet because of the early hours. I was relieved to see that the air conditioning was working in the tatami room. The one that was recommended was the fresh fish tamate box. I was aiming for this, so of course I ordered. I ordered all of the root rakkyo Prosciutto rolls, wasabi mayo with avocado and watercress, and fried white shrimp, which were recommended today. Well, toast with beer and highballs. The start is plum Nankotsu. Wakame seaweed is also served with it, and it feels like a passerby. Avocado and watercress sawabi mayo are also served with it. I'm not very good at mayonnaise, but this one goes well with chopsticks. (They served me with a spoon, so the spoon goes?) After that, the long-awaited tamate box appeared! Wow, smoke is coming out. The lid was opened, and the bearded old man did not become a man, but a gorgeous fresh fish appeared. The fatty salmon with a focus on tuna and a large octopus are delicious. The visuals are also amazing, and this is the sign of this store. I also enjoyed my favorite fried white shrimp, and it was time to go to Japan sake. Today's recommendation is Shiga's triple star, Saga's MOVIN, and Oita's Chiebijin. Other than chiebijin, it was my first drink. It was easy to drink and the food was good. I wanted something warm, so I added fried chicken and fried Oyster. The fried chicken is hot, the Oyster has no odor, and you can enjoy it lightly with lemon and salt. My friend shifted from drinking to eating here. Miso Onigiri and delicacies chazuke. I'm still drinking and enjoying the nostalgic omelet and Prosciutto rolls of root rakkyo. (Ne Rakkyo leaves a scent in my mouth, so I should have eaten it first...) It is a nice restaurant, the food is delicious, and there is plenty of alcohol, so foreign tourists will be happy. However, there are not many tourists in Kumagaya. It's a bit of a bummer. It's a shame because I think you'll definitely like this atmosphere. It is a store that I would like you to appeal to the charm and be crowded. It was a feast.
