I was on my way to visit my daughter, who lives alone at university, and it was lunch time, so my wife and I decided to look for a restaurant and visit. I ordered the Tsukinoya set meal for 1,150 yen and Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) for 790 yen. The set meal and Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) were brought out without a long wait. The tempura was beautifully arranged and my appetite was piqued, and I immediately started eating the lotus root, which was fried crispy and delicious. The shrimp were firm and the eggs were half-cooked. The other vegetables were also crispy and delicious. If I could eat for this price, I would be satisfied.
