I went to Kappa Sushi for dinner alone yesterday. Even though it was the weekend, the restaurant was empty. I sat at the counter, looked around, and enjoyed eating Conveyor belt sushi by myself. Sushi is delivered by a bullet train at Kappa Sushi. I wonder if we will ever see Sushi going round and round here again like in the old days. . . Of the dishes I had this time, the seared medium fatty tuna, the crab taste comparison, and the small shrimp gunkan were probably the best. The searing brings out the creaminess of the medium fatty tuna and the salt sprinkled on top was very effective, making it quite delicious. The crab is a classic, and being able to compare the different types is quite luxurious. The small shrimp was also plump, and the crispy seaweed was GOOD. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the presentation was quite messy. I guess that can't be helped. . . Thank you for the meal.
