天然ラドン温泉が日帰りや宿泊で楽しめる温泉旅館八王子荘の中にあるマキノ食堂、予約なしで、近江牛一人すき焼き、近江牛カレー、いのしし一人すき焼き、鮒ずし、鯖寿司、鮎など琵琶湖の食材を使った定食から定番の唐揚げ、豚カツ、うどん、そば、どんぶりなどが気軽に食べられます。天然ラドン温泉は日帰りも出来ます。泊まってゆっくりは、和洋会席、近江牛すき焼き、しゃぶしゃぶ、ぼたん鍋、冬はかにとふぐも人気です。
