京都から山の中を日本海に向けて走っていると鯖寿司の看板やお店がたくさん出て来ました。そうか、昔福井県の小浜辺りから京都へ鯖を運んだ道なんだ。ちょうどお昼時なので何軒か過ごして車を止めたのがこちらのお店でした。メニューは生鯖寿司と焼き鯖寿司の２つ。福井県で有名な焼き鯖にも引かれるけど本日は生をチョイス。平日だからか店内飲食はやっていないようなので外にあるテーブルで食べても良いか？と尋ねると気持ち良く棒鯖寿司をカットして下さいました。開けてみると大好きな丸々と太った鯖が出て来ます。こんなのなかなか見ないよな。あまり好きではない生姜が少し多かったけれど一気にいただいてしまいました。これだけお店が多いので競争も激しいとは思うけど、その分味のレベルも高いのかな。ごちそうさまでした。
