大山登山に行ってきました。
せっかく山陰まで来たので、
下山後、まだ行っていない島根県まで足を延ばしました。
松江エリアの郷土料理と言えば、何と言ってもしじみ。
しかし、他にも「べべ貝（ボベ貝）」という小さな貝を使った料理もあるのです。
そんなベベ貝の料理が食べられる貴重な店で、この日のランチを。
残念ながら、曇っていたため宍道湖の景色はどんよりしていましたが、
晴れていれば、さぞ美しい景色を見ながら食事できることでしょう。
さて、注文ですが、海の近くでもあるので、
海鮮丼とお造り定食、そして、ベベ貝の釜飯にしました。
魚の種類そのものは、特別なものがあるわけではありませんが、
分厚くカットされた切り身が美味いです。
定食には茶碗蒸しまで付いています。
そして、ベベ貝の釜飯。
ほんのりと磯の香りがし、
えぐみの無い貝の味が想像していたよりおいしかったです。
この地に来たからこそ食べられるものに出合えて幸せです。
