A 2-minute walk from Hamada Station! A hidden izakaya in a back alley

I found this Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) on a business trip. My boss suffers from motion sickness, so I drank alone. The chef and the landlady created a warm, family-like atmosphere. They said "Welcome back" when entering and "Have a nice trip" when leaving. The food was excellent. Really delicious. Especially the conger Tempura tempura. It was fluffy, thick, and crispy. It's blissful to eat it with salt. The local specialty "akaten" is best eaten with shichimi mayonnaise. The batou sashimi was chewy and light, but had a strong flavor. It went well with the mellow, sweet soy sauce. The sake was "Oroku Hachimaru". It went well with the sweetly seasoned dishes of Shimane Prefecture! I finished off with the landlady's specialty Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl).
