A retro-modern Japanese-Western mix restaurant
Located on the second floor of a brick building along Aoba-dori, it feels as if you have wandered into a foreign land. The small, cozy restaurant is a slightly mysterious space that mixes Japanese ele
...ments with a cafe-like interior. It is a relaxing space to take off your shoes and go up. Enjoy Japanese-style meal made with seasonal ingredients and local Shizuoka seafood and mountain produce, charcoal-grilled or as Tempura. The owner especially recommends the grilled dishes, which are cooked over binchotan charcoal until plump and bring out the flavor of the ingredients. And for the final dish, try the handmade nihachi soba noodles, which have a smooth texture and a pleasant throat feel. This is a rare restaurant where you can eat authentic soba even late at night. In addition to local sake, they also have a carefully selected wine that goes well with Japanese-style meal. For banquets and parties, they offer a selection menu to suit your budget.
