The menu is extensive and includes homemade soba noodles.
Located on the second floor of a tenant building on Aoba-dori, the restaurant is called Cafeterias, but the atmosphere is more like a bar. A quick look at the menu shows that they have everything from Tempura to meat. The appetizer was stewed tripe, so I started by preparing it with a bottle of beer. I ordered skinned liver and tuna. I had Daina sake. The owner recommended a certain snack, so I had that too. The skinned tripe was good quality and the liver was fresh. The dry Daina went down well. I wanted to finish off with soba noodles, so I had Tempura and red wine before the soba. I ordered maitake mushrooms, Oyster, and annatto potatoes. Tempura was reasonably priced at 200 yen each. Considering the price, it's good value for money. I think the soba noodles are 28% broth? They're more authentic than I expected. For dessert, they served annatto tempura with maple Tempura. Whatever I ate, I was satisfied. I'll go again when I want to eat a variety of things.

A retro-modern Japanese-Western mix restaurant

This was my second visit after making an online reservation. On this day, I had horse mackerel sashimi, liver, ginger leaves, Tempura (shrimp, okra, clams, asparagus), and cheese as a complimentary treat. I drank one bottle of beer and five cups of sake, and finished with grated seaweed soba. The grated seaweed was delicious, with plenty of Tempura and nori seaweed. There are Japanese and Western snacks, and a variety of beers, shochu, sake, and wines, so I think everyone can enjoy themselves, even if they don't like the same food and alcohol.
