☆If you want to eat your fill of delicious fish, try "Donmusu"☆
We carefully select seasonal fish from all over Japan, mainly from Numazu, with the eyes of a fishmonger! This is Numazu Port... We were born and raised in Numazu, a fish paradise, and we love Numazu |
Donmusu ◼️2023/8 A Seafood restaurant in Numazu Port A little way inland from the main street Business hours have changed to the following [Previous] Weekdays 11:00-20:30, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 11:00-21:00 [Current] Weekdays 11:00-16:00 (LO 15:00), Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 11:00-18:00 (LO 17:00) Closed on Thursdays Directly managed by fish wholesaler "Uotoki" It has the right to sell at the Numazu Port Market, and apparently obtains fresh seafood The interior of the restaurant is Japanese-style There must have been an interview by a local TV station, as there are colored paper on the walls The counter has been thinned out to 3 seats and 7 tables for 4 people On the tables are soy sauce, sauce, disposable chopsticks, toothpicks, and menus BGM is JPOPS No smoking inside the restaurant I visited at 16:30 on a Saturday, but there was only one group of 2 customers who could buy, and the peak time had passed. There is a middle-aged man and woman working in the kitchen, and a younger woman working on the floor. They all look alike, so it must be a family business. They are already preparing to close, and it appears they will be closing at 5pm today. The customer service is quite questionable. The main menu items (excluding tax) are as follows: [Set meals] Horse Tempura tempura set meal 1,410 yen Fried horse mackerel set meal All-you-can-eat horse mackerel 1,410 yen Suruga set meal 1,783 yen Premium sashimi set meal 1,982 yen Fried large shrimp set meal 1,982 yen Fried local fish and large shrimp set meal 1,982 yen Tempura sashimi set meal 1,982 yen Sakura shrimp tempura set meal 1,982 yen Seafood Bowl 1,682 yen Local fish bowl 1,682 yen [Single dish] Sakura shrimp tempura 682 yen Local horse mackerel fries 750 yen Deep-fried mehikari 582 yen Anglerfish-fried monkfish 591 yen Red-eyed snapper 1,682 yen Prices are slightly cheaper than the popular restaurants in the area. The most popular is the fried horse mackerel set meal. I ordered the all-you-can-eat horse mackerel set. Locally-sourced fried horse mackerel. Two medium-sized horse mackerel, fried with fresh breadcrumbs. The horse mackerel is local and used for sashimi, and is quite thick. Freshly fried and crispy. Served with sauce, lemon juice, mayonnaise and Japanese mustard. Very tasty. The portion was quite voluminous. Served with hand-cut shredded cabbage and parsley. Whole horse mackerel. Made with one small, fatty horse mackerel. Served with ginger, chopped spring onions and soy sauce. Fresh and tasty. Horse mackerel bone Senbei (rice crackers). Like rice crackers. Must be prepared in bulk and stored. A delicacy, and just as tasty. Pickles. Commercially-available takuan. Taste is just average. Rice. Good quality rice, cooked well. Just as tasty. A generous amount of Seafood miso soup. Today's miso soup is fish bone soup. The topping is fish bones. Delicious. Full and satisfied. Next time I visit, I'd like to order the local fish and large shrimp fried set meal.
