Please relax in the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Saishoku Tea Room "Kuu."
We imagined a warm, homely "living room" with a slightly nostalgic scent. Couples, friends, and families gather around the table to enjoy a meal, talk about what happened today, and chat together. We |
*2017.02 revisited* I revisited after a long time. I went with a business associate from Osaka. It was a Friday night, but it was relatively empty, and I was shown to a tatami room in the back. It was quiet today♪ Wasabi edamame 480 yen. Lightly pickled avocado 480 yen. Deep-fried saury 680 yen. Aged beef marinated in herb salt and red wine 980 yen, and other items were ordered. As it is a creative restaurant, the menu changes regularly. Wasabi edamame is basically edamame with a wasabi flavor. I wonder how they season it? It's delicious♪ The lightly pickled avocado has a flavor that makes you wonder if it's been soaked. But I like avocado, so it was just soft and delicious. Deep-fried saury 480 yen. The aged beef has a nice rich flavor♪ It made a good beer snack. It was pretty good today (^o^) Thank you for the meal ♪ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ *Revisited 05/2016* I've been here about 3 times, but this is my first review. It's about a 2-3 minute walk from the north exit. There's also a store in Mishima. It's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with creative menu items. The interior is dark and stylish, but there are no private rooms. But it's pretty calm and the clientele is adult, so I go here when I want to relax. The standard dishes I always order are the deep-fried yam with seaweed and the burdock chips, which are delicious. But that's not the main course (lol) For some reason, there is no sashimi on the menu. The only raw fish I've had is carpaccio. The shrimp mayo I ordered that day was too sweet and not to my liking. The shrimp had a good texture, but the seasoning was too strong... The beef and fried tofu gratin was okay. But it's at a level that I feel I could make myself. No matter what food I eat, it's always safe, but I'm never hooked... (-_-) It's always too sweet, too strong, and not quite right... There's always something disappointing (+o+) The draft beer is often lukewarm. And Chuhai (Shochu cocktail) is strong (lol) But when it's quiet, the atmosphere isn't bad. The menu is also geared towards women. So I'd say it's good for a date. It's a shame... But it's on that fine line that wouldn't make me never go again. It's surprisingly popular, after all. I wish they'd let me develop the menu (lol) Thanks for the meal.
