静岡県最東部に位置する熱海市にある食事処を訪問。
場所は熱海駅から徒歩数分。
熱海駅前平和通り名店街の駅寄りに位置している。
2階建で1階はテーブル、2階はお座敷である。
日曜日の11時過ぎに訪問したところ、11時開店にも関わらず、既に1階は満席で2階に案内される。
主なメニューは天丼、天ぷら、刺身、蕎麦など。
その中でも大海老天丼に目を奪われた。
普通のエビの2.5倍の大きさとのことで迷わず注文。
待つこと数分で着丼。
丼からはみ出した大海老が2尾、さつまいもと椎茸、野菜が各1つずつ乗った豪華な天丼である。
海老は身が詰まってプリプリ、揚げ具合は全てサクサクである。
ご飯には柚子が散らしてあるため、脂っこくなく、さっぱりとたべることができる。このひと手間ができる店とできない店の差は大きい。
