伊豆高原の駅から歩いて10分ちょい。
秋の風情を感じながらゆるゆると散歩。
駅から徒歩で大いに下り、大いに上る。
大した距離ではないが、普段、車なので徒歩は運動になり、ありがたい。
旅館の入口とレストランの入口が分からずしばらくもたもたする。
夜は旅館の食事処として使う場所をコロナ禍に合わせて日帰りでも食事できるように工夫したのだと思うが、テーブル席の食事処はただ座るだけで落ち着き、豊かな気分になる場所。
コース仕立てで、料理を出していただくが、コミュニケーション能力の高い女将がとても丁寧に説明してくれ、また、そのフレンドリーさがファンになってしまいそうなほど。
峯岡豆腐から始まるコースは内容的には知らないものは無い仕立て内容ではあったが、女将の説明の角度が普段の僕の知らないこともたくさんお話ししてくれて、勉強熱心さが伝わってくる。
きっとこの宿に泊まるといい時間を過ごせるなーって彷彿とさせるおもてなし。
料理の味付けはバランスの良い塩味を抑えた仕上がりながら、普段僕のいただく系統の和食よりは醤油の香りが立った仕上がり。
それはそれで悪くない。このコースで、3,000円台後半は、なんともリーズナブルで安いなーって感じてしまう。
サーブして出してくれている側は、比較的高いと思っていらっしゃったようだけど、このクオリティ、この味、この満足感では、安いよね、大丈夫？って質問してしまった。
店を出てから、「なにこれ？？安いけど？！再訪問したいねーっ」て話になりましたー。
