I visited here for lunch on a trip to Shuzenji. The inside of the restaurant looks like an old folk house, and you can eat soba while looking out at the bamboo forest. The seat was a tatami room. I ordered sakura shrimp kakiage and soba noodles. It came with two bamboo steamers and was very filling. The wasabi was delicious. It seems that you cannot eat the boiled Kinmedai unless you make a reservation.
