足利の観光エリアにある人気の蕎麦店。
相田みつを氏が贔屓にしたお店で、看板をはじめ所々に筆跡を見ることができます。
こちらには麺街道グルメイベントで訪問しました。
平日昼過ぎ14時をまわった頃に訪問しました。それでも先客は2組。飲んでました。
こちらはにしんそばや天ぬきという天ぷらをつゆに浸して食べる料理が名物となっています。
ただ、これらはお酒をつまみながらがおすすめらしく、この日は車のため見送り、
とろろ蕎麦にします。
落ち着いた雰囲気ですが全体的に価格は高めです。
青竹の器に盛られて提供。
淡い蒼色が珍しいそば。美しい。
透明感の中にかすかにホシの見える、極細に切りそろえられた職人技の蕎麦。
そば粉の風味と甘さ、新鮮な粉特有のぬめりと喉越しが素晴らしいです。
ほとんどつゆを付けずに食べてしまったほど
大変美味しい蕎麦に感銘を受けました。
店内のポップをみると無欠勤の熟練蕎麦職人が打っているとのことでした。
真面目な品質が一番です。
珍しくデザートを注文。水わらびもち。
濃い緑の美しい和の味を堪能しました。
若店主と少しお話ができ、蕎麦に通じているのはもちろんのこと、
根っから本物の食を志向されていることがわかりました。
自分のリストにランクイン確実の素晴らしい蕎麦でした。
