PR for restaurants |
We use carefully selected seasonal ingredients and serve delicious, hospitable food at reasonable prices.
Our recommendation is the local multi-course meal Zomekizen. It includes sweetfish from the Yoshino River, buckwheat soup made from buckwheat berries from Iya, boiled Naruto sea bream, an aperitif mad |
I went on a tour of Awa Indigo. Indigo cultivation has been popular in this area along the Yoshino River since ancient times, and in the Edo period, it was said to have supplied indigo to all of Japan. Therefore, there were many wealthy merchants in the area, including Aizumi-cho, who made their fortunes through indigo cultivation and sales. First, lunch. This is a long-established restaurant that has been in business since the Edo period, and I heard that people from Tokushima use it when they have something. The building is a large reinforced concrete building a little way from the arcade street. Today's meal was a Western-style banquet, but sashimi and soy sauce were prepared. Then a stylishly shaped plate appeared. Salmon, fish eggs, and various other things were served in a colorful arrangement. The sashimi was fresh sea bream, bonito, and tuna, and a vegetable consommé in a round bowl. It was a little difficult to eat from. A two-tiered dish arrived. The top tier was mainly fish, and the bottom tier was roast beef. Anyway, they brought it out without any explanation and left it there, so I ate it and checked the contents. Marinated octopus salad, deep-Fried food salmon, soft stewed abalone, deep-fried eggplant Simmered dish, and deep-fried chicken. The roast beef was cut thick, but very lean and slightly stringy. The rice was multigrain rice. The fruit dessert was delicious. It was a bit hectic, with people clattering around to bring the food and pull out the plates. I think they use ingredients from Tokushima, but there was no explanation, so I don't know.
