We stopped in at night. This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located right next to Tokushima Station. It was a Friday night, so we made a reservation, but the restaurant was full. The food offers many local Tokushima ingredients. We started with a sashimi platter and seasonal Tempura. The sashimi was an assortment of seasonal fish, and everything was delicious. The bamboo Tempura was soft and had a spring feel to it. There was a wide variety of meats, including charcoal-grilled Awa beef and skewers of Awaodori chicken. It is inevitable that some items will sell out. Having to order from your phone from your seat is a bit of a drawback for entertaining, but everything was delicious and we had a wonderful time.
