Japanese-style meal Hana is an izakaya Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located along Ryogokubashi Street in Tokushima. It has the appearance of a traditional Japanese restaurant, and as you enter through the door, you take off your shoes at the entrance and take a seat. Inside the restaurant, there is a counter, a raised tatami room, and several private rooms. We started with an appetizer of vinegared mozuku seaweed and beer. We then had chicken breast ponzu with shochu and seared wagyu beef with sake. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and nice, but the actual food was a bit disappointing, with the seared wagyu beef being thick and hollow, almost like Steak meat. It's a bit of a shame.
