何となくトンカツが食べたくなって当店に電話予約しようとした所、テーブルチェックでのサイト予約のみということで急遽登録を済ませて予約した。たまたま次の日に空きがあったので簡単に取れた印象であったが、かなりの予約困難店であることを後で知った。
キャンセルポリシーやら、ディレイポリシーがかなりうるさめに記載されていたので余程の頑固親父が営業しているのかと想像していたが、どうやら海外情報誌で紹介されているので海外観光客に対しての注意喚起のようだ。
この日も日本人客は筆者だけで後はすべて海外の方であった。

・キャベツ、野菜盛り
どのカツについても2切れづつ提供され、コース形式で堪能できる。特段肩ロースが上等で、味が深くクセになる旨さだ。リブロースについては脂身が旨いということだったが隣の客に脂がすべてよってしまい、筆者はまったく楽しめなかった。もう少し切り方、もしくは提供の仕方に頭を使ってほしいものである。とりあえず工夫のこらされたコースの組み立ては素晴らしく、再訪したい欲求にかられる。機会を見てまた伺いたい。
