交通量が多い晴海通りを地下鉄日比谷繊維沿って銀座４丁目から
東銀座に向かう。歌舞伎座を過ぎ一方通行の道を左に。
暫く進み左手にある雑居ビルの奥にあるエレベーターが彼の店の入口。
このお店は「何屋さん」なのか考えるとナカナカ難しい。
割烹？お鮨屋さん？
いや、正直そこまでのクオリティーはありません。
けどこのお店のシステムは凄い。
分かりやすく言えば「会員制の食べ飲み放題」店です。
店内に入り、個室に案内され席に着くとドリンクを聞かれた後、
先ず一通り季節のお料理が供されます。
１０品程並ぶお刺身の盛合わせ、剥いてある毛ガニ、
アワビの踊り焼きなど高級食材ばかり。
それもなかなかの量が次々に供されます。もちろん追加したい方は
メニューにあるお料理をこれ以外にどれだけでも追加できます。
そして雲丹、トロ、のどぐろから小肌、干瓢巻までキラキラしたメニューが
並ぶお鮨もメニューにあるネタを好きなだけオーダーできます。
一方で飲み放題のアルコールも、森伊蔵、百年の孤独、作、十四代など
凄い銘柄が並び、一見銀座ならではの輝きを煌々と放っているかのように
感じられます。
しかし、設えや調度品、家具や器などがいかにも安直でプラスチッキーで
くたびれており、頭の中で「？」が渦巻きます。
アクセスも良く、全室個室、定額制で追加料金の心配も無い。
まるでフォルテシッシモなルートヴィヒの音源のように利点をあげれば
キリが無いだけに、料理の質の向上はもちろんのこと、目につくハード部分に
ナポレオンによる地位革命のような大幅な改善を願わざるを得ないヒトトキでした。
会計を済ませてエレベーターに乗る。本当に基本料金だけだと驚きながら
１階に到着すると、冷たい風が強く吹いていた。お酒で暖まった身体も急激に冷め
指先に冷たさを感じ始めたのは冬の風のせいだけではなかったと思った夜でした。
