今年初めに銀座に『XL Neo Bistro ＆ Wine Bar （エックスエル ネオ ビストロ アンド ワイン バー）』がグランドオープンしました。
店名の「XL」は食とワインの素晴らしい体験（Excellent Experience ＝ X）にワクワク（Elation ＝ L）してほしい
という想いを込めて付けられたそうですが、実はシェフの身長は190センチ。
本当か否かわかりませんが、これもXLという店名に繋がったようです
ソムリエの林さんより「またGEMSなんです」という連絡があったのは年末のこと
(以前いらしたお店もGEMSビルにあったのです)。
ワイン好きな友人と食事の予定があったので、軽く行ってみようと訪問しました。
だって、コースも9,800円からあるんだもん。アラカルトもあるし、コースでも当日決めればいいっていうから
その日の気分で決められるしねということで、決定しました。
場所も銀座だから場所もいいしね。コースは他に12,000円、15,000円がありました。

今回は12,000円のコースにしたんですが、シュワシュワの切り立ての生ハムからスタートし、
カリフラワーと雲丹のジュレ添えなどかなりクラッシック。
途中パテアンクルートをカットしているシェフを見て私も食べたくなっちゃって追加。
デザートもチョコレートケーキだったのですが、アラカルトメニューにクレープシュゼット(フランベはしないよ)があり、
聞いたら変えてくれるっていうの。シェフに、私が特別なんじゃなくて
普段からもやってくれるの?と聞いたら柔軟に対応しますと。これはありがたい！！
料理はクラッシックをベースにしたネオビストロ。ワインの品揃えもさすがの林さん。
幅広いラインナップで揃えているのでね、是非行ってみてね
