神田きくかわの日比谷店。大箱のため予約なしでも比較的に入り易く、落ち着いた雰囲気で、上等な鰻が食べられる貴重なお店。
鰻の前に酒とつまみでじっくり攻め方を組み立てるのも楽しい。
鰻の身質はかなり良く、肉厚だが口溶けも良い。
気立ての良い店員の皆さんの気配りも嬉しい。
お勧めされた鰻のハムも酒の当てに最高だった。
年配の女性店員が外国人観光客に柔らかい英語で対応していたのが微笑ましかった。
