東京有楽町、うなぎ百名店、神田きくかわ日比谷店さんです。
神田で創業1947年、77年目のうなぎ屋さん系列。日比谷店さんは1966年帝国劇場開館と同時にオープンされています。
谷口吉郎設計の帝国劇場二代目建築も、来年2025年に建て替えを発表されています。憂愁の美を鑑賞がてら、老舗うなぎ屋さんにお伺いしました。
店内は江戸情緒溢れる長屋風のレイアウト。店内は広く、GWの平日でしたが待ち人は無しです。
うな重はクラシカルな伝統の背開き蒸し工程。ふっくらジューシーな旨みが油となって溶けています。
まだ先の話ですが。新たな帝国劇場も楽しみです。
