外国のお客様が来日し、会社のお偉いさんと一緒に東京會舘の和食処でお昼の接待。いただいたのは
「二重橋膳」8,360円。ちょっとびっくりする価格。茶わん蒸しとお造り（写真無し）とお膳にお吸
い物、デザートとお抹茶の構成。
値段の割にお造りにマグロが無いのが気になったが、お膳の食材はさすがに見事。アワビの酒蒸し、
ステーキ、ウニ豆腐、タラバガニと湯葉など。お吸い物には松茸が。
高いだけあって美味しいんだけど、値段に見合うかどうかは・・・。ただサービスのレベルの高さは
さすが。
新装なった東京會舘。お昼時には年配のご婦人方が多数う。同時に周辺の道路には黒塗りの車がずら
っと並ぶ。レクサスなどトヨタ系やメルセデスが目立つが、最近の流行りなのだろうか、高級ミニバ
ンもちらほら。セダンよりも広いので、乗っていると楽だと聞く。
日本の財界の縮図なんだろうなと思います。自分は末席を汚すだけで、無縁なんですが。
