新橋駅に直結していながらも微妙に入りにくい感じの雰囲気を出している新橋駅前ビル1号館。ビル内に入ると、ディープ感漂うお店がいっぱい。昼から飲んでいる人もチラホラと。
お店には12時ちょっと前に到着。既に数人の並び。さすが定食百名店ですね。しかし、こちらのお店は回転がいいので5分ほどで店内に。店内はL字型カウンター(8席)のみ。ご夫婦で営んでいるお店です。
カウンターに座り、一推しの「刺身(大盛)定食1000円」を注文。すると、手早く、お茶、味噌汁、ご飯、漬物、刺身と出てきます。刺身の盛り付けは少し雑な感じに見えますが、鮮度はいい感じですね。
まずは、味噌汁を一口、チョーがつくほどの激アツ。炎天下の中、汗だくできたので... なかなかハードです。さて、シマアジを一口。ブリンブリンの食感で鮮度の良さがわかります。決して、ボリュームがあるわけではないですが、新橋駅前で、この内容なら文句ありませんね。サラリーマンに人気なのもうなずけます。
刺身以外にも、焼魚定食、煮魚定食もあり、刺身に次いで多かったのが、焼魚定食(サバ)。美味しそうだったので、次回はこれかなぁ。
