I have visited the popular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in the Shimbashi area, "Shimbashi Ippuku" and "Ginza Ippuku", but I had not visited the original "Puku Puku" because it was difficult to get a reservation, but I happened to have a vacant seat the day before because there was a reservation, so I was able to visit. If you go down the steep stairs, there is a door that looks like a submarine, and when you open it, you will see a counter that looks good. It has a good capacity of 6 counter seats and 22 table seats, but it filled up quickly. You will be guided to a seat in front of the owner at the end of the counter. This time, I ordered a la carte instead of a course. When we toasted with draft beer, a three-point serving of passage was immediately served. There doesn't seem to be a particular name for the dishes, but they are all based on good broth and are delicious. The assortment consists of broiled pike, sardines, bonito, and golden snapper. A lot of effort is put into the plump fresh fish, and the pike in particular is finely decorated and broiled with a knife, so the bland white meat is exuded with skin fat and the flavor is doubled. The sashimi knob was also made beautiful and easy to eat with time and effort, so I didn't leave any leftovers. The "soft-shelled turtle okara" that I ordered to connect the grilled food until it was cooked is made by simmering it in the broth of sea turtles, so it doesn't look impressive, but when you eat it, the ridiculous flavor spreads in your mouth and it's delicious! For grilled food, I ordered "Saikyo grilled managatsuo" and "charcoal grilled chicken". Saikyo yaki exudes elegant Saikyo miso that is not too sweet, so the sake is perfect. "Charcoal grilled chicken" is exquisitely grilled with crispy skin and plump, tender and juicy. Neither of them was browned at all, and I was impressed by the careful baking. Fried food is "Shrimp Cream Croquette", which is a fluffy cream Croquette with shrimp miso sauce, and it is rich in umami that can be said to be foul. Finally, Simmered dish 's "bonito radish". Instead of ara, the belly and back are cut into thick pieces and stewed in a broth that clearly has the flavor of ara, and the radish that absorbs the flavor is the most delicious. Around the peak of the order, my husband talked to me, so I talked about the Noto earthquake in my hometown, and I was a little sober, but I was soothed by his gentle way of talking.
