本日ノー残業デイの水曜日、以前から気になっていたお店でお邪魔したのが此方。場所はニュー新橋ビル4階に有ります。
新橋再開発で建替予定の有るビルとは言え、1階や地下階には個性的で魅力的な飲食店が犇めき合っています。
それに比べると3、4階はシャッターで閉ざされた店舗も多く、足を運ぶには少し寂しい感じがしますが、それでも気になるお店が点在しています。
店名のユックとは蝦夷鹿を意味するアイヌ語だそうです。札幌定山渓温泉の老舗旅館、ホテル鹿の湯の直営店として竹橋店を皮切りに、銀座、新宿、横浜他9店舗有るそうです。居酒屋チェーンとしては控え目な展開ですね。
雑然とした1階からエスカレーターで4階に上がると人も疎らの中、入店。
前方にくの字のカウンター席が、右側にテーブル席が配置され、木製の椅子に壁には障子を模した窓が有り、落ち着いた和風の雰囲気。
注文したのはほろ酔いセット1,380円。
生ビール、日本酒、焼酎から1点、お刺身3点盛りに、メインは縞ほっけ焼き、知床ザンギ、ジンギスカンステーキ、たこのピリ辛揚げ、いかごろバター焼きの5点から1つ選びます。その中から縞ほっけとザンギをチョイス。
中でも刺身は美味しかった。この日は烏賊、甘海老、炙り鮭に松前漬けが添えられていました。
烏賊はコリコリしながらも噛むほどに独特のトロミと粘りが有り、甘海老はプリプリながら、とろけるような甘味が、頭にも濃厚なミソが有り印象的。炙り鮭は皮付きで脂がのって柔らかい。素材は毎日ジェット便で空輸されているそうです。
またニッカのハイボール450円、竹鶴ハイボール650円も、普通の居酒屋で出されるハイボールとは違い、品格を感じさせる味わいでした。
メニューも山海の恵みや名物料理等、味わいたい料理が多数見受けられました。
ベテランの女性店員さんも年輪を重ねた味が有って良かったです。次回はじっくり、確り腰を据えて料理を堪能したいと思います。ご馳走さまでした。
