新橋に近い銀座８丁目にあります和食店。新橋で適当なお店が見つからずに移動した11時40分に先客はいないようで、広いカウンターの、マスク無しの板さんからは遠い席に座り、卓上のメニューには触らないように店頭メニューで決めた「塩そば」1100円を頼みます（10年前からは200円アップ）。厨房から「塩そば１つ入ります」と聴こえ、後客の注文で「日替り」が鰤と判明した焼き魚が「先に焼き魚上がります」で日替りの法則のチョイスミスを確認し、会食客の会話を聴きながら待ちますこと13分で「塩そば上がります」に続き、大きめのお盆で来ました「塩そば」。サラダが和食店らしく好きです。香の物。薬味添えの塩そばは、和風で、おにぎりで仕上げ、後客の営業開始により、遅れを取り戻し、お先に失礼。
