Visited on Monday after work. I've been drinking since Monday and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it through tomorrow. The sake is warmed up to you by the restaurant from the beginning. A calm start. Just the right flavor and lightness as a starter. Houki grouper soup stock. The bowl is a hot plate of sake. This is my first time eating Houki grouper. The taste of this white fish is elegant, and anyone who eats it will know it's a high-quality fish. Sashimi: Bluefin squid, red sea bream, golden sea bream, black tuna, white-eye tuna, and red meat. The bluefin squid is served with salt, and the red sea bream is served with mullet salt. All the ingredients are strong, so it's delicious. Cold yellowtail teriyaki The flavor of the fish is strong. The sushi restaurants I usually go to don't serve boiled fish, so being able to drink this is actually fresh. The alcohol goes on. I forgot to take a photo, but I'm drinking Kyoto Spring. Ezo venison monaka and wild game patty - in other words, Hamburger. Minced Ezo venison is sandwiched between the middle. Gibier patties are made from multiple gibier meats such as duck and deer. The herbs are effective and the scent is good. This is also a dish that goes well with sake. Along the way, I started drinking dried leaves from Hioki cherry blossoms. Honestly, I don't really understand when people say it's drying up, but it goes well with aged, smelly meat. Stewed Ezo venison shank and Achilles tendon Stewed in a Japanese-style soup. The meat is tender, the vegetables have their natural sweetness even though they are stewed, and the sake is delicious. A French cuisine-like dish. It's good to be able to eat rare vegetables too. Roasted mallard duck Just when I thought it was time to finish, I had another dish. It seems to be a natural mallard duck imported from Russia and aged for a month with the hair still attached. The strong flavor and unique smell of the meat will enhance your drinking experience. Taketsuru's sake book. It's 15 years old, so it's aged quite well. I am not defeated by the power of meat. Tokkuri is quite unique and I laughed. Marakamogara somen noodles to finish. The soup is soy sauce based. Somen is extremely thin noodles from Awaji Island and is quite rare. The mallard duck has a very strong flavor. The aroma is also different from that of regular chicken. It also smells faintly of yuzu. I was thinking about what to eat after this, but it was so delicious and satisfying that all those thoughts were blown away. Sake lees ice cream The sweetness of sake lees and the subtle flavor of yuzu. The course costs 8,800 yen, and 4 glasses of sake costs about 13,000 yen. Honestly, it's not a cheap store. I think the price is rather high. However, the ingredients used are quite high-quality and many are rare, and the food is also of a very high standard, so you will be more than satisfied with the price. Above all, I don't think there are many restaurants in Japan that serve so many gibier dishes and serve hot sake that goes well with them, so in that sense, I think it's a very unique restaurant. If you like warm sake, we recommend you visit at least once. Thank you for the meal.
