銀座八丁目。新橋駅から御門通りを蓬莱橋交差点方面に歩いて5分程度の静かな裏道にたたずむお店
地下への階段は狭いですが、店内は広く、開放感のある黒とグレーのオシャレな空間でした。店員さんのユニフォームも黒で統一されていてスタイリッシュ。
カウンターに座ると、目の前にたくさんのビールサーバーのコックが存在感を放っていました。店名の通り、店内醸造のビールが楽しめるこのお店は常時１０種類程度のクラフトビールが揃っているそうです。この日は以下の１１種類でした。

なお、３種飲み比べセットもあるので、少しずつ全部試してみたい人にはお勧めかもしれません。
何を頼むか迷いましたが、あまりビールっぽくない味を試したくてマンゴースムージーサワーを注文しました。甘酸っぱくて美味しい！

から選べます。アメリカ（US）とイギリス（UK）でパイントのサイズって違っていたのですね！
フードはコースで頂きました。
◯生ハムのルッコラのグリーンサラダ
◯アミューズの盛り合わせ（ゆで卵のピクルス・鮮魚のエスカペッシュなど５種類）
メインのお肉を待つ間、醸造所を見学させてもらいました。ちょっとひんやり。常時16～17℃に保たれているそうです。何種類もの麦芽が入った透明の衣装ケースが所狭しと並べられています。40ケースほどあるでしょうか。ここから何種類ものビールが生まれるのですね。でも１のオリジンと９のギンザIPAは必ずあるとのこと。
さてカウンター席に戻ってメインのお肉を。
◯ウルグアイ産リブアイステーキ
実はウルグアイは一人当たりの牛肉消費量が世界一だそうで、成長ホルモンを禁止するなどお肉の質にも厳しいそうです。かつ赤身肉好きの国民性もあり信頼できて美味しい赤身肉を輸出できるとのこと。お店のこだわりがお肉にもありました。
もちろんビールにも合いますが、ここはお店自慢の自然派ワインを合わせて。濃厚な赤身肉とマルベックのマリアージュを堪能しました。
銀座にあって隠れ家感もあり、こだわりのビールと自然派ワインと赤身肉。幸せなひとときでした。また店員さんがいろんなことを教えてくれて勉強になりました。ご馳走様でした。
