Food Akita Prefecture branded pork “Appleton”
Our store is the only place in Tokyo where you can eat Appleton. Because the producers take great care in raising each individual pig, it is difficult to mass-produce it, and other than a few restaurant in Akita, this pork is only available as a fan, making it a highly rare and valuable pork product. Its characteristics are the smooth flavor of the fat and the quality of the meat, which does not get tough over time. And even when shabu shabu, almost no lye comes to the surface. It also has a higher content of vitamin B1 than regular pork. (About 1.5 times per 100g)
