新橋！鯨の離れ！くじら赤身レアステーキ！
前回に引き続き、2回目の訪問です。
前回、くじらのユッケ丼が思いの外美味しく訪問です。
2度目となる今回は、食べたことのないメニューとして「くじら赤身レアステーキ 1000円」を注文。大きさは100g、150g、200gと選べ、大きさによって値段が変わります。また、味付けも胡椒味、すき焼き味から選べ、ご飯も大盛無料です。
提供になった「くじら赤身レアステーキ」ですが、見た目、くじらと言われなければ気づかないほど。また、食べて見ても、全く臭みは無く、まるで牛肉を食べているような感じで違和感ありません。
昔、学校給食でくじらの竜田揚げを食べ悪い印象を持たれている方もいるかも知れませんが、全く、そんな事はなく、美味しいです。
また、夜メニューは日本酒メニューが豊富で落ち着いて飲めそうなお店で、まだ知られていないのかランチも混み合ってなく、ゆっくり食べられるので、穴場かもしれません。
新橋！くじら赤身のユッケ丼！
新橋にある「鯨の胃袋」の支店「鯨の離れ」へランチ訪問。「鯨の胃袋」は何度か夜にお伺いしたのですが...こちらのお店は初訪問です。
店内はL字型カウンターとテーブル４人掛(1席)とこじんまりとした店内。落ち着いた感じでゆっくり頂けます。
鯨のステーキ、鯨のユッケ丼、鯨の竜田揚げとありますが... 食べログ見ると、ほぼ、鯨のユッケ丼が多かったので、とりあえず、ユッケ丼(ご飯大盛無料)を注文。先客1名だったので提供も早いです。
ビジュアル的には、玉子の黄身がのり、マグロの赤身にも見えますが鯨です。それに、鯨(さえずり)が入った味噌汁、糠漬け、蒟蒻の小鉢が付き、税込1,000円。なかなか良い感じです。
私の世代なら、小さい頃に学校給食で鯨の竜田揚げが出ていて、良い印象を持たれていない方もいるかもしれませんが、全く臭みもなく、柔らかで美味しいです。何も言わなければ馬刺し？と間違える人もいるかもしれません。
こちらのお店は、「鯨の胃袋」同様、日本酒が豊富なので、パリパリ鍋を食べながら日本酒っというのも良いかもしれません。

前に「レアステーキ100g（ペッパーステーキ）」を食べていたので、今回は「レアステーキ100g（すき焼きステーキ）」を注文。
しかし、竜田揚げだけは昔の給食の記憶があり... どしても頼みにくい。多分、今は昔と違って食べれば美味しいんだろうけど...
レアステーキは、見たとおりお肉。食べても言われなかければ牛肉赤身のレアステーキとしか思わないと思います。全く臭みもなく、違和感もないので、美味しいお肉を食べている感じです。
混み合っていないので、ゆっくり座れ穴場的なお店です。また、日本酒の種類も豊富で、琥珀エビス、佐藤(焼酎）などを含むプレミアム飲み放題もあるので、お酒好きの方には、夜もオススメです。
