[b: Lunch at a Fried Skewers restaurant in Ura-Kori. ] Although it was probably not a path I would walk on in the morning, I was able to blend in with the Ikebukuro people and tourists alike. I've eaten at Corridor Street several times in the past, but this is my first time at a restaurant called Ura Cori. People who smoke often find themselves in strange places because they look for designated places to smoke. There are surprisingly many stores that offer such encounters. It was the same with this store. The aroma of delicious-looking fried kushikatsu. Right next to the designated location. That scent and the large noren curtain that read ``Honmamon's delicious skewers that have been loved in Osaka for 30 years.'' “[b: Lunch: Kirishima Pork Loin Pork Cutlet Set Meal]” (1,400 yen) + “[b: 1 fillet cutlet]” (700 yen) - As shown in the photo. Perhaps due to age, but due to changing tastes, there was a plan to shift from pork loin to fillet. However, at the beginning of the transition period, I realized that I was still a roast loin fan, so I went back to roast loin, but it became difficult to abandon the tenderloin that I had experienced in a short period of time, and in the end, I often ended up with the worst pattern of ``both.'' It has become. (lol) It's a loin, and it's not like it's fatty, but it has a fresh atmosphere. I wonder if this is what it feels like when the meat juices are trapped. However, to some extent, the same can be said for fins. If you look closely at the cross section, you will notice that there are a lot of eggs in the tsunagi. And the batter has a fine texture and sweetness similar to that of a kushikatsu. I didn't find anything strange about the fillet skewers as I have had a fair amount of experience with them at various restaurants, but the fact that I had very little experience with the loin skewers was probably a factor in why I felt they were so fresh. In the case of the tonkatsu at this restaurant, I don't know if it's the batter used for kushikatsu, or if it's something similar to sole, but the taste of the pork cutlet was loin and fillet that would convince you that it's a kushikatsu restaurant. Of course, the frying oil also tastes like sauce. As for seasonings, salt is delicious, and mustard on its own would have been good, but when it comes to compatibility with the batter, it's definitely going to be the sauce. It had a very Osaka-like atmosphere, similar to Okonomiyaki sauce. I got two bowls of rice free of charge. Thank you for the meal. I could really feel the craftsmen at this restaurant taking great care in their cooking. In terms of ingredients, it's probably within the reasonable price range, but I felt that the cooking was better than that. (Written by: Kyoka Shuku, 2023.10.25) (40 items/3.24)
