後楽園にある川国志と同じオーナーが経営しているお店です。普段は後楽園の方に行くのですが、ときどきこちらにも行っています。
3人で行って、高めの紹興酒のボトルを空けたりお茶をかなり飲んだので一人8,000円ほどでした。ジョッキ2~3杯と普通に飲むくらいなら、一人6,000円ほどだと思います。
■内装
中国風デザインの灯りが吊ってあったり絵が飾ってあったりと、全体的にポップで明るいのですがチープ感は無く、カジュアルな雰囲気です。外から見ると広く見えないのですが店内は奥に長く天井が高いので、かなり広く感じます。各席がゆったり広いのもよいです。大人数用の円卓もあります。
■料理
辛い四川料理がウリです。私はそんなに味が分かる方ではないのですが、ただ辛いだけではなく、香りや旨味も楽しめる料理でおいしいと思います。今回食べたのは
・蒸し鶏の青山椒ソース
・くらげ黒酢和え
・唐辛子だらけの鶏肉四川炒め
・白身魚の四川辛子煮
・旬の野菜炒め
・きくらげ玉子豚肉炒め
・上海風ソース焼きそば
・杏仁豆腐、など
どれもおいしいですが、やはり四川と名がつくものが大好きです。辛くないものもおいしいので、辛いのが苦手or少ししか食べられない人も楽しめます
■接客
私見ですが、おいしい中華料理屋には必ず接客に活気があって気の利く店員さんがいます。ここのお店もそういうお店の一つで、高級中華ほどよそよそしくなく、町中華ほど砕けていなく、良い距離感の気持ちいい接客です。
新橋駅すぐそばなので平日は昼も夜もとても混むらしいのですが、土曜は場所がら人が少ないため、ゆったり楽しめるのでねらい目です。
