好きかどうかというレベルではニワカもいいところだが、ほとんどスポーツ観戦をしない私がほとんど唯一まともにワールドカップの試合を見ようというのがラグビー。全試合フォローはできなかったけれど、予選のうち3試合リアルタイムでちゃんと見たのはこの手のイベントでは初めてかもしれない。
で。
ラガー丼を理由に新規開拓を細々としてきたけれど、日本代表が敗退した今、ラガー丼ってのもなぁ、とか思いながら訪れたのが、ラガー丼に参加していることで店の存在を知ることになった〈Banksia〉。見ているとオージー、NZあたりの料理を持ってきたビストロのようだ。店はスタイリッシュ、モダンなバーの雰囲気。
まだラガー丼をやっているのは確認できたものの、そんなこんなの理由で〈本日のパスタ〉でボロネーゼ。
まずパン、からのサラダが来て、メインのボロネーゼと供される。最後にコーヒーor紅茶のドリンク付き。
パスタは出て来るのにちょっと時間がかかるところからして、ちゃんと仕上げているのだろうという気がするが、待っている間にいただけるハムらしきものの乗せられたシーザーサラダ的サラダからして結構いい感じ。
ボロネーゼも、装飾的に載せられた揚げたもの（ごぼう、かな…）にちょっと前衛的な個性の主張が見られるけれど、いただいてみれば良心的に作られた、挽き肉もしっかり使われた美味しくいただけるオーセンティックなもの。
1,300円という値付けそのものはややお高いものの、パスタのクオリティは悪くないし、このご時世で丸の内でコーヒー・サラダ付きで1,300円なら、上々と言わざるを得ないかもしれない。
まだどうにか1,200円を予算にしたいと思って抵抗してみている（最近、はみ出ることも多いのだが…）けれど、ちょこちょこ値上げの圧力は感じるから、ギブアップして予算を＋100円したら使ってもいいかも。まあその時には、このお店はさらに+100円しているかもしれないが……。
