RestaurantRosette is a French restaurant at Century Court Marunouchi. It is located on the basement floor of the Meiji Seimei Kan, a nationally important cultural asset. By the way, I am not sure about the positioning of Century Court Marunouchi. It pretends to be a members-only social club, but anyone can make reservations online at Tabelog. The interior is classically decorated with crisp tablecloths. There are a little over 20 table seats, and in the back there appears to be a counter facing the kitchen as a chef's table. Chef Tomoyuki Kagami has a long experience in Europe and joined the culinary department of Century Court after returning to Japan. Although it is unavoidable for this kind of Restaurants, the wines are as expensive as those in foreign hotel dining rooms. The service is not at all sophisticated compared to the restaurant's reputation, and is in the style of the waitstaff at Japanese hotels of a decade ago. I am a stylish person, and their style did not match mine at all. The amuse was a carrot (or is it carrot?) mousse, sea urchin, and consommé. The amuse was carrot mousse, sea urchin, and consomme jus. classic It is the taste of classic in the middle, and is straightforwardly delicious. The yellowtail is prepared in a ceviche style. The fish is thickly cut and very nice. The accompanying couscous also has a stylish flavor. The bread is delicious. It has a rough texture and a deep grain flavor. However, the Okawari bread was a plain baguette. The foie gras was marinated with sakekasu and Saikyo miso, which was quite good. The use of edible flowers is also very pretty. Abalone meuniere. The thickly sliced abalone with a crunchy texture and the flavor of burnt butter goes well with it. It was powerful, had a strong presence, and was very tasty. It was the best dish of the day. The main dish was a filet of Japanese black beef. It was cooked gently and had a smooth texture. It was so smooth and tender that you felt as if you could drink it even though it was meat. The truffle sauce was just like a proper French dish, and was delicious and well behaved. Salted ice cream before the dessert. The rich milk flavor and subtle saltiness revives the appetite. For dessert, I chose the pistachio soufflé. It is so large that it makes you want to ask what's wrong with it all of a sudden. It was so tender and fluffy that it was sure to be a hit with the girls, and I must have been the person who ate the most soufflé in the world on that day. I finished with a cup of herbal tea. Thank you very much for the meal. The bill was about 30,000 yen per person after the above course meal and a few glasses of wine. The wine is expensive, but the food is very reasonably priced, and for the "water is fine" lunch crowd, this may be the most cost-effective restaurant in the world. On the other hand, the service team was not up to par and seemed very outdated. I felt that the service team was not up to scratch yet and was very outdated. Perhaps because of its location, it is suitable for company dinners. I felt it was a shame, because the food was delicious.
