八重北食堂1F、日本橋寄りエリアの新店です。
開店直後に伺いました。
店内、縦に細長い造りで、ソファー―テーブル席が一列に並んでいまして、
その手前2人席に座りました。
手前4つが2人用、奥側は4人席が3つですね。
座面は硬めですが、背もたれが高く快適です。
一方の間隔は狭めで、アクリル板はありません。
その他の席は、手前に3席のミニカウンターと奥にL字のカウンター席があり、
突当りの窓側席がゆったりしてて良さそうです。
また、手前には入テーブル席が1卓だけあります。
さてメニューを確認します。
カレーが4種類で、１つは週替わりで、確かチキンだったような。
1,000円から1,400円のレンジ。
タンドリーチキンサンド：1,300円
ドーサタコス：1,350円
スパイシーチキン丼：1,200円
チキンケバブのロールサンド：980円
チキンビリヤニ：1,400円
ベジビリヤニ：1,250円
以上、なかなか迷うラインアップ(笑)
カレーも気になるのですが、ここはスパイシーチキンが食べてみたいので、
オーダーしました。
6分程で提供となりました。
メニューの写真ではチキンが分かりやすく写っていますが、
見た目どこにチキンがあるのか良く分かりませんね。
確認すると、小さい、いわゆる一口サイズのチキンが５つ入っていました。
唐辛子も2つ乗っていて、これは辛そう~
頂きます。
うん、しっかり濃厚で辛い！
自分には食べられない辛さでは無いですが、結構辛い。
食べた後、口がヒリヒリとします。
でも、旨味が感じられ、美味しい。
サフランライスも、良い食感ですね。
スパイシーチキンは、スパイス―チキンカレーとしても成立しそうで、
ライスが進むこと間違いなしです。
一方、チキンもライスも量は少な目ですね。
クオリティは良いのですが、量が少ないというこの料理。
もっと食べられたら、リピート確実かと
野菜は、レタスなどこれも、まあ通常の量ですので、
自分のレベルでも少々物足りないですね。
これはワインと一緒が良いのかな？
ボトルは3,500円くらいからありますね。
他の料理も気になるので、夜も来てみたいところ。
お店は、日本人のスタッフは見当たりませんね。
ちなみにこの日は、帰るまで、もう一人の男性客と2人でした。
ボリュームが影響してCP＆総合評価が低めになっています。
