京橋エドグランドの東京駅側の1階にある、明治元年創業の老舗寿司屋さん。
ガラス張りの外観の中に木の引戸や暖簾などがあり、鉄筋コンクリートの建物の中に風情のある木造の建物があるかのようなちょっと面白い店構えです。
お店を示す看板もなく、建物の外からは営業しているのかどうか分かりづらく、簡単に通り過ぎてしまいます。
ランチは焼魚膳、煮魚膳に丼があります。
こちらに来る時のお目当ては、はーふ&ハーフ丼です。
多くの方が頼むのは看板メニューの鉄火丼ですが、この日は『あじ、かんぱち』の気分でした。
あじは、程よい甘さの酢で〆られ脂ものり美味。
やや薄めのカンパチですが、脂が乗り美味しい。
ネタと酢飯の間にはガリが挟まれてるので一緒に食べても美味しい。
そして、このお店の特徴のひとつは赤酢を使った酢飯です。
酸味と甘味が混在したこの酢飯とネタの一体感が最高で、完成度の高い海鮮丼は本当に美味しい。
