此方を運営するのは、江戸時代から続く鰹節問屋の中弥商店さんで、鰹節問屋で扱われている本鰹節3:宗田節・鯖節1でだしを引き、カエシに小豆島の特選醤油を使用した蕎麦汁は無化調で、蕎麦と饂飩も自家製麺とのことです。そして蕎麦汁と “粉かつお” を使用した “おかかごはん” が有名です。

先ずは作り置き “かき揚げ” を、どっぷりと蕎麦汁へ沈め込め啜ると、蕎麦汁から発せられた節の香りが鼻腔を抜けて旨味が拡がり、カエシの塩味と甘味がしっかりと主張して、更に “かき揚げ“ から溶け出した揚げ油がコクを加え、無化調乍らパンチの効いた出来栄えは、最早 “立ち食いそば” と云われる簡易的なそば屋のレベルを凌駕してますわ。
【麺】自家製麺の生蕎麦
店側は茹で立てに近い状態で提供してくれており、蕎麦汁が秀逸なために薄い印象の生蕎麦ですが、固有のもっちりした口当たりで、“立ち食いそば” として高品質で美味しいですね。ゆですぎなのかかなりやわらかい。
【おかかごはん】
更にもう一つの名物である “おかかごはん” は、店内に掲示されたポップの指示に従い、粉かつおと醤油をかけて頬張ります。これは旨いよね‼️
