東京の本家・都心である日本橋界隈で、なんと「ワンコイン・５００円ランチ」のお店を見つけました。
場所は日本橋よりは若干、南に位置する「京橋」。周囲は都心らしいビジネス街。しかし、路地などにはなんとなく「本家・下町」の風情も残っているような気がします。
所用で日本橋界隈を訪れたこの日、時間は１２：４５。
取引先との待ち合わせは１３：３０。
少し時間あるので「昼メシくっちゃおっ！」と、心当たりの蕎麦屋に向かったのですが、その途中、こちらの店を発見。
立ち呑みバーのランチ営業のようで、看板の「５００円」に惹かれて即、入店です。
お店の入口で数種類のどんぶりモノ・カレーの中から好みのランチを指定し手先に支払いを済ませるシステム。
アタシは「チキンガーリック丼」を注文します。
基本的に店内にイスは無く「立ち食い」の店。夜は「立ち呑みバー」として営業しているようなので当然といえば当然。
ピークを過ぎたようで、先客は５～６人。
そして、待つこと３分ほど、チキンガーリック丼が運ばれてきます。
味噌汁が付いただけ、漬物やサラダもないシンプルなスタイル。５００円なら文句はありません。
どんぶりのごはんはやや少なめですが、アタシの昼メシとしてはちょうど良いくらい。
トッピングのチキンもやや少なめの漢字がします。
たくさん作っておいたものを温めたような感じのチキンですが名前の通り、ガーリックの利いたタレが美味しくごはんが進みます。
そして、ごはんには茎山葵でしょうか、青いものが混ぜ込まれていて辛くはないもののチキンの脂っ気に対してサッパリとした食感を提供してくれます。
味噌汁はオーソドックスにわかめと油揚げ。簡単なわかめだけでなく油揚げが入っているところが好印象。
都心のビジネス街と言うことで昼時はどの店も大にぎわい。
一般的に７００～８００円、そして１０００円を超える昼メシ処も多い中、ワンコインの５００円で食べられるランチはフトコロの淋しいオジサンには嬉しく、ありがたい存在。
立ち食いと言うこともあってササッと小ざっぱり済ませたい時にはピッタリのお店です。
