「日本橋 お多幸本店」で、名物の「とうめし」を食べたくて昼時に来てみたら、
なんと、「当分の間、ランチは中止します」とのつれない貼り紙。
こんな貼り紙には慣れているはず、プランＢも考えている。
でも、絶望感はいつもの倍以上。
なぜなら、この日は東京でも最高気温36.1℃という猛暑日。
太陽光線が刺さるような酷暑では、プランBのお店まで歩く気にもならない。
ということで、お隣のビルを見ると飲食店の雑居ビルでした。
１Fが焼きトンのお店、２Fがこの「北海道八雲町」、３Fが地鶏のお店、４Fが高知県料理のお店、ということなので名前だけでも涼しそうな北海道を選びました。
お店に入ると完全に居酒屋の光景、入口近くのカウンター席に案内されます。テーブル席はすでにほぼ満席のようでした。
ランチメニューの一番右にある「生姜やき定食」1000円をチョイス。
北海道だから海鮮を選ぶのが正解なのかもしれないですが、最右翼に書いてあるということは、相当なスグレモノと見ました。
ん、なに？先払い？うん、これは面白いシステム。電気を使わない自動販売機みたいなものでSDGsじゃありませんか。メニューはゆっくり見れるし。
ん、なに？テーブルの器に卵が数個入ってます、無料でいただけるの？
そして、「生」？「茹で」？
周りのお客さんの様子を見ていると、生卵のようです。そして無料のようです。これは嬉しい。ご飯のおかわりも無料のようなので。おかわり確実。
さあ、生姜焼き登場！
おー！やっぱり立派な生姜焼き、正解でしょう。
さらに豚汁＆小鉢。これは食べる前からご飯おかわりしときたい！
まずは生姜焼きにかぶりつきます。
うん、まいうー！大きくて柔らかい生姜焼き、ブラウン界の大御所。
はー、幸せ。外の暑さが嘘のよう。
ビール飲みてー。でも、今日はこのあと車に乗るから我慢我慢。
そしてご飯2杯目は、TKGに更に生姜焼きのタレをかけちゃったりして。
あー、幸せPART2。
ふー！ごちそう様でした。お目当てのお店でなくても、お隣のお店で大満足。
さすがお江戸日本橋、偏差値高いっす。
