I visited the restaurant on a weekday at lunchtime. I visited without a reservation after 13:00, and I was able to enter after waiting about 10 minutes. However, I was lucky, as it seems that sometimes the restaurant is fully booked and you can't enter during lunch time, but if you make a reservation, you are restricted to a course, so that's a bit of a dilemma. The restaurant has been around for quite a long time, as the building is reminiscent of the early Showa period, and the construction is purely Japanese. The fact that you have to take off your shoes at the entrance is not exactly trendy, but it's a very relaxing space. Since I came to this space, the customers have been all adults, and the atmosphere was also nice! Now, I had a Sukiyaki lunch. It came with rice, miso soup, salad, a single serving of Sukiyaki, six slices of meat, and dessert, and it was just under 1,900 yen, so it was a good deal overall! Sukiyaki was based on a slightly sweet Kanto-style warishita sauce, and the meat was Japanese beef, but it was lean. However, considering my work in the afternoon, I was rather glad to have the lean meat ^ ^ Finally, I poured the remaining Sukiyaki and egg over rice and finished it off with a high-quality Gyudon (Beef bowl). It was a relatively light meal, but I was able to enjoy the atmosphere and calmness. It's not something I'd do every day, but it was a good place to take a break from time to time! Thank you for the meal.
