Visited for lunch on a weekday. This soba Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is famous for its Nihachi soba, which is made from Hokkaido buckwheat that is ground daily in a stone mill. I had passed by this store several times and was hesitant because it seemed to be a bit difficult to enter, but I decided to take the plunge and try it. It has the appearance of a high-end restaurant, but when you look at the menu, you'll find it to be more reasonable than you expected. I wanted to try both soba and rice bowls, so I ordered the katsudon set (1,250 yen). Katsudon is a thick cutlet topped with a fluffy egg, and the meat is soft and flavorful, and the volume is ample! The soba noodles are smooth and smooth and have a good texture and aroma ^^ Although it's a bit pricey, I'd like to try the soba noodles alone next time★
