I couldn't decide whether I wanted to go for the Tokai Fun Set Meal or the Beef Kakuni Set Meal until I entered the restaurant. Entered the store at 13:34. The reason I couldn't decide was that the fun set meal seemed to have good value for money, and there aren't many restaurants around here that offer beef kakuni. Decided on the beef stew set meal (1,600 yen). The deciding factor was the clerk's comment that unlike Chinese Cuisine, they don't use star anise. Of course, I had a large serving of rice. Arrived at 13:42. Big braised beef! I took a photo of one of the two kakuni on top of rice. The meat is melty and the seasoning is light. There is almost no need to chew the simmering kakuni. It's overflowing with fat, but the mustard adds to the flavor. The braised stew included green beans, taro, and carrots. Simmered dish of squid and radish is also seasoned just right, with the flavor of the squid permeating through the radish. Pickles and other items are also a nice touch as they refresh the palate. Finished meal. The beef stew set meal was hearty and delicious, but I thought it might not be suitable for people who shy away from beef fat, and on the other hand, I thought that it would be unbearable for people who like fat. I finished my work and left the store. Thank you for the meal.
