Nihonbashi Lunch Series No. 93 Today, I went with a friend to a rather inconspicuous restaurant near Kayabacho. Hinaiuo Located a little way back from the sidewalk, it looks a little intimidating at first glance. But when I saw the sign, the lunch menu looked pretty average. I'd been interested in this place for a while, but this was my first time. My friend had been here a few times and said the fish was delicious, so we decided to go in. It was just before 12:00, so we were able to get in pretty easily. We ordered the Fried Horse Mackerel and Pork Soup Set Meal, which was written at the top of the blackboard menu: Limited to 10 meals, ¥850. They Other had a fish of the day set meal, and we thought that if they had reached the limit and the fried horse mackerel set meal was sold out, we would order that. But, maybe because it was early, our order went through without a hitch. Large portions are free for the set meal, and it comes with a raw egg. So, that's it. The fried horse mackerel was delicious, crispy and freshly fried, but it was just average. Maybe it was because the meat was a little small? If it was in season between May and July, it might have been large and filling. . . . But the pork soup was very luxurious with plenty of pork. Personally, I would have preferred more root vegetables since the main dish was fish, but the luxurious pork soup was very filling. This alone is enough as a side dish for rice. As expected, it comes with almost all the set meals. The parent company has a fish shop and greengrocer in Tsukiji Market, and they are very particular about the ingredients, especially the vegetables, which are brought in from contracted farmers and their own farms all over the country. Since Tsukiji has now closed, I wonder if they have moved to Toyosu? Anyway, it was a restaurant that carefully cooks with fresh ingredients. Next time, I would like to try something different. They go out to buy fish at 2am and deliver it the same day, so you can enjoy the freshest, highest quality seafood of the day. Vegetables are sourced from contracted farmers and their own farms across the country, and are delivered directly to high-end stores in Ginza, so this is a shop that is very particular about its ingredients. Lunchtime is especially reasonable, and the signature dishes, fried horse mackerel and pork soup, are definitely worth trying at least once.
